MVT is pleased to offer a very competitive long distance service. MVT Long Distance is a flat rate, 10 cents per minute plan with no monthly charges. We bill in 6 second increments after the first 30 seconds, so you won't be paying for time you don't use. Since there are no monthly charges, if you don't use your long distance during a billing period, you won't be charged for anything.
As a customer of MVT, you may choose the long distance carrier you want to carry your local long distance calls (calls within our region of Nevada) as well as your other long distance calls. To preserve your right to choose without bias, MVT is prohibited by the FCC to offer advice as you make your decision. Regardless of the choice you make, it is important to remember that MVT does not bill for any other long distance company.

Customers now have the ability to choose from among a number of companies to handle their long distance service needs. In all cases, new customers will be asked to pre-subscribe to a long distance provider when establishing service and will have 30 days to change carriers free of charge. A $5.50 charge per line will be assessed to customers who change their selected long distance company after the first 30 days.
All customers can take advantage of the ease and convenience of 1 + dialing to use the long distance company of their choice. Before you make a choice, make sure the long distance carrier you select offers 1 + dialing in your prefix area. You can choose for both local and long distance service carriers.
